The Holtville Middle School Library’s mission is to provide a dynamic, welcoming learning environment where every student is empowered and every student succeeds. Through a strong culture of literacy, curiosity, creativity, and innovation, the HMS Library equips students with the skills to read critically, communicate effectively, think deeply, and solve problems with confidence. By integrating literacy and STEM, we provide opportunities for students to explore new ideas, ask meaningful questions, collaborate, create, and turn knowledge into action. Our library is more than a place to find books—it is a place to discover something new, solve something difficult, create something meaningful, and become someone stronger.
In collaboration with the school’s learning community, the Holtville Middle School library media program will be the center of teaching and learning by providing access to quality collections and technologies, and by extending services beyond the library media center’s four walls and the school day.
